Today MSDH is reporting an additional 933 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 37 deaths. Twenty-five deaths occurred between November 1 and November 9, and 12 occurred between October 23 and November 3, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 128,138, with 3,480 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 26 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities and 5 deaths. There are currently 118 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
