MSDH reports 695 new COVID-19 cases, 32 deaths

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 695 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 32 deaths. Eight deaths occurred between February 11 and February 12, and 24 occurred between January 11 and February 9, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 286,343, with 6,461 deaths.

Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 4 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and 2 deaths. There are currently 113 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
