JACKSON, Miss. – Ryan Miller, executive director of the Mississippi Office of Workforce Development (AccelerateMS), will lead Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s Workforce Wednesday presentation on Feb. 15, at 11:30 a.m.
Miller will discuss his agency’s workforce efforts and share career and education resources provided by AccelerateMS, which serves the people and businesses in the state by developing and deploying workforce strategies to connect individuals with transformative, high-paying careers.
There is limited seating for the in-person workshop at the MPB office, located at 3825 Ridgewood Road. However, the event will be livestreamed via Facebook and Zoom. Those interested can register for the event here.
Workforce Wednesday is an initiative of the MPB Education Department. The hour-long workshop, held every third Wednesday of the month, connects partner agencies and organizations, facilitates open dialogue about workforce development, and provides professional development opportunities to all Mississippians.
