JACKSON, Miss. (October 21, 2024) — Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) is adding a new radio show to its lineup, "The Sit Down with Russ Latino," Wednesday, October 23 at 10 a.m.
The new, locally produced public affairs program will explore the political and cultural issues impacting Mississippians and Americans alike.
Hosted by Russ Latino, a well-known figure in Mississippi’s political landscape, "The Sit Down" aims to provide in-depth interviews with experts, policymakers, and community voices, fostering a platform for thoughtful dialogue on issues that matter most to the state and the nation.
“I hope we can have provocative conversations about issues that impact regular Mississippians and hopefully set us on a path to improve things in our state,” said Latino. “I am most excited about the ability to dig into the issues that draw strong opposing thoughts and find common ground to hopefully move the state forward.”
Listeners can tune in to "The Sit Down with Russ Latino" on MPB Think Radio, on the MPB Public Media App, or stream online at mpbonline.org every Wednesday at 10 a.m.
