Mississippi Public Broadcasting’s Think Radio will air the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) state football championship games this Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5.
All six games of the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Gridiron Classic will broadcast live, starting at 11 a.m. each day. Football programs representing West Point, Louisville, Taylorsville and Noxubee County are among those scheduled to compete for bragging rights and the coveted championship trophy.
This year, the Gridiron Classic will return to the historic Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium that hosted MHSAA football finals from 1992 through 2013. The schedule of games is:

“We are excited about the opportunity to return the Gridiron Classic to a place with such a storied history in Mississippi,” said MHSAA Executive Director Don Hinton. “There have been so many great moments and memories for our schools over the years at Memorial Stadium.”
