Now with the Mississippi Gospel Music Awards and the City With Soul Awards, the JMA weekend is a staple event for musical artists and supporters. Jessie Thompson, President of the Jackson Music Awards Association, joins the show to talk about the humble beginnings of the Jackson Music Awards and how going virtual for this year's awards has been a welcomed challenge.
