With many musical credits to his name, Mike Burton has earned his place as another musical great that hails from Mississippi. Since his childhood days of joining his mother at Mississippi Mass Choir rehearsals, music has pushed Mike to break barriers and set jazz standards for a new generation. After matriculating through Jackson Public Schools and attending some of the top music schools in the country, Mike worked with legends like Patti Labelle, Tyler Perry, and Jill Scott. Now with a new solo project his talks with Third Coast Radio about his musical direction in 2020 and how COVID has affected his touring plans.
