MSDH reports 348 new COVID-19 cases, 24 deaths

Today MSDH is reporting an additional 348 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 24 deaths. Thirteen deaths occurred between February 12 and February 22, and 11 occurred between January 27 and February 15, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 291,222, with 6,577 deaths.

Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 4 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities and 4 deaths. There are currently 87 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
