Anna M. Neel is a seasoned communications and operations executive with over two decades of leadership experience across public broadcasting, strategic communications, and crisis management. As Chief Operating Officer at Mississippi Public Broadcasting, she leads the agency’s strategic planning and daily operations, driving mission alignment and resource optimization for a 100+ person organization.

Since her time in Mississippi, Neel has worked with numerous organizations, brands, state lawmakers and legislators to help shape policies that improve the lives of its citizens. Anna served as Co-Chair of Mississippi’s Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Public Affairs Committee, leading public communication efforts across state and federal agencies during one of the largest environmental disasters in U.S. history. A recognized thought leader, she has advised Fortune 1000 companies and public-sector clients on high-stakes communication and crisis strategies.

Named one of Mississippi’s Top 50 CEOs, Anna has also been recognized as one of the state’s Top 50 Business Women and Top 40 Under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal. She brings a results-driven, people-centered approach to leadership and holds a B.A. in Mass Communication from the University of West Georgia.
