The Symphony’s Star Wars concert at Thalia Mara Hall brings the iconic score to life with selections spanning the saga – a celebration of one of cinema’s most beloved soundtracks.
Ultimate Beethoven, also at Thalia Mara Hall, showcases Violin Concerto, performed by internationally acclaimed violinist William Hagen, alongside Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2.
Transcendent Voices, recorded at Christ United Methodist Church, pairs Wagner’s luminous Parsifal prelude with Joel Thompson’s Seven Last Words of the Unarmed and Fauré’s Requiem, featuring the Jackson State University Chorale.
Dvořák to Debussy offers the warmth of Dvořák’s Wind Serenade and the modernism of Debussy’s String Quartet, and Wynton Marsalis’ Meelaan, recorded in Tougaloo Chapel.
