Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 274 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 32 deaths (19 of which occurred between July 8 and August 24, identified from death certificates). Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 82,950, with 2,473 deaths.
There are now 158 active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
