MSDH reports 290 new COVID-19 cases, 4 deaths

MSDH is reporting an additional 290 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 4 deaths. One death occurred April 1, and three deaths occurred between July 11, 2020 and March 18, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases now stands at 305,991, with 7,055 deaths.

MSDH has identified no additional cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and no deaths. There are currently 15 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
