Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 795 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and seven deaths, which occurred between October 17 and October 21. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 113,876, with 3,238 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 36 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and 3 deaths. There are currently 130 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
