JACKSON, Miss. – Country music band Chapel Hart will co-host “Next Stop, Mississippi” at the Mississippi Public Broadcasting studio on Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. The interview will be live-streamed at https://mpbonline.org.
“Next Stop, Mississippi” is a weekly radio show that highlights weekend events across the state. Chapel Hart’s visit to MPB comes ahead of the trio’s Friday performance at the inaugural Keath Killebrew Memorial Rodeo at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson. They’ll be joined by Alyssa Killebrew, widow of the rodeo’s namesake. The rodeo is presented by the Killebrew Ag Foundation to benefit scholarships for aspiring farmers.
Chapel Hart drew a national spotlight when they competed on “America’s Got Talent” in 2022. Chapel Hart was previously inducted into the CMT’s Next Women of Country. The group’s members – sisters Danica and Devynn Hart and their cousin Trea Swindle – are from Poplarville, Mississippi.
