Congressman Partly Backtracks Praise of Campus Conflict that Included Racist Gestures
A Republican congressman from Georgia backtracked on some of his previous praise for a campus conflict that included a man who made monkey noises and gestures at a Black student who was protesting the Israel-Hamas war. A national fraternity, meanwhile, said it has removed one of its members for “racist actions” at the University of Mississippi as a large group of students heckled a smaller group of pro-Palestinian protesters.

Mississippi Views

Simple But Decadent 'Zabaglione' that Moms will Love
Chef Lidia Bastianich shows how to make this deceptively simple custard, made with only eggs, sugar, and a dry Marsala. Marsala is a fortified wine, dry or sweet, produced in the region surrounding the Italian city of Marsala near Sicily. The finished cream has a rich flavor on its own, but a semi sweet chocolate sauce adds to the decadence. Buon Gusto from Lidia's Kitchen!
