Today MSDH is reporting an additional 1,031 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 15 deaths that occurred between October 25 and November 6. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 125,885, with 3,433 deaths. A death previously reported in Neshoba County was determined not to be a COVID-19 related death.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 17 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and 1 death. There are currently 107 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
