Today, MSDH is reporting an additional 967 cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 14 deaths. Eight deaths occurred between November 3 and November 5, and six occurred between October 13 and October 30, identified from death certificate reports. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases for the year now stands at 124,854, with 3,419 deaths.
Among cases and deaths already reported, MSDH has identified 15 new cases in residents of long-term care facilities, and 4 deaths. There are currently 113 ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities.
