Today MSDH is reporting 674 new cases of COVID-19 in Mississippi and 30 deaths, 21 of which occurred between July 5 and July 7. Mississippi's total of COVID-19 cases since March 11 now stands at 32,888, with 1,188 deaths.
Forty-one of the new cases and 12 of the deaths reported today were among residents in long-term care facilities. Active outbreaks of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities have increased to 108 (where an outbreak is one or more cases among residents or staff).
