MPB Television productions recognized with Telly Awards in national competition

Mississippi Public Broadcasting earned four Telly Awards for its television production of two episodes and two segments of “Mississippi Roads.” The Telly national awards recognize creative achievement in video and television.

MPB Television’s iconic “Mississippi Roads” offers viewers an insider’s guide to events, attractions, history, art, music, food, and intriguing individuals that make Mississippi so unique. The show, one of MPB’s longest running programs, first premiered in 1983. Walt Grayson has been the show’s host since 1999.

“We enjoy bringing these remarkable Mississippi stories to our audience,” said Katie Savage, executive producer with MPB Television. “We are proud to showcase the people and places that make Mississippi special.”
