Expanding access to education, health and technology is the focus of the next Workforce Wednesday, held at Mississippi Public Broadcasting and online on Sept. 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Dorlisa Hutton, executive chief operations officer of SR1, will present "Making Education, Health and Technology Available for All.” SR1 is a Mississippi-based organization with a mission to educate and improve the quality of life for all. Hutton will also provide information about SR1’s new project that supports beginner farmers.

There is limited seating for the in-person workshop at the MPB office, located at 3825 Ridgewood Road. However, the event will be livestreamed via Facebook and Zoom. Those interested can register for the event here

Workforce Wednesday is an initiative of the MPB Education Department. The hour-long workshop, held every third Wednesday of the month, connects partner agencies and organizations, facilitates open dialogue about workforce development, and provides professional development opportunities to all Mississippians.
